Welcome to the home of the Dunbar High School Boys Basketball Teams. We are a nonprofit organization composed of parents, staff, alumni, and friends that support the boys basketball teams (Varsity, JV, and Freshman) and Dunbar High School in general.

We raise funds to purchase supplies, equipment and other items beyond what the FWISD athletic budget provides.The Flying Wildcats from Stop 6, Texas was coached for over 30 years by legendary Coach Robert Hughes Sr. Coach Hughes retired at the end of the 2004-2005 season as the All-time Winningest High School Basketball Coach in America with 1,333 wins. Under Coach Hughes, Dunbar has won 32-District Championships, 5-State Final appearances, 4-State Runner-up Titles and 2-State Championships Coach Hughes son, Bob Jr. takes over as head coach to continue the winning tradition.
